Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- La Federación Mexicana de Kurash anuncio su Primer Campeonato Nacional Abierto para el próximo domingo 14 de mayo 2023 en las instalaciones del Centro Social Deportivo Guelato, Alcaldía de Cuantemoc de la urbe capitalina que corresponde a la Ciudad de México a partir de las 9:30 AM.
Es la primera vez que se realizara una competición de la ancestral disciplina de Kurash en territorio mexicano ya que fue el pasado 22 de marzo cuando la Federación Mexicana de Kurash recibió el reconocimiento de la Unión Panamericana de la disciplina oriunda de la Republica de Uzbekistan y por consiguiente el mismo se extendió a la International Kurash Association (IKA).
El nuevo organismo deportivo esta integrado por Juan Jose Cruz Santillan, Jesús Segura Lopez, Armando Cobos y Marcos Francisco Franco Ayala quienes son presidente, vicepresidente, secretario y tesorero, respectivamente, de la disciplina que tiene mas de 3500 años de existencia y que es considerada como la Madre de Todas las Artes Marciales ya que la misma sirvió como base para el nacimiento de otras.
También forman parte del cuadro directivo Milaidy Chirinos y Ángel Gomez en el Consejo Contralor y como suplentes Erwin Uriel Hernandez, Rene Alejandro Silva Rojas y Enrique Martinez Cruz.
Los directores técnicos y de arbitraje lo son Milaidy Chirino y Diego Patiño, sucesivamente, ambos con amplia experiencia en diferentes Artes Marciales lo que garantiza el fomento y desarrollo de la disciplina en todo México.
Los organizadores esperan de participación de varios estados que están integrados a la Federación Mexicana de Kurash contándose entre ellas el Estado de México, Tlaxcala, Puebla y así mismo San Luis Potosi, Instituto Politécnico Nacional y Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), entre otros.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Mexican Kurash Federation announced its First National Open Championship for next Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the facilities of the Guelato Sports Social Center, Cuantemoc City Hall of the capital city that corresponds to Mexico City. starting at 9:30 a.m.
