El presidente de la International Kurash Association (IKA), Haider Farman, informo a las Uniones Continentales de la posposición de la Gran Final del World Series Pro (WSP) y del XVII Torneo Internacional de la ciudad de Termiz, eventos que estaban fechados del 14 al 19 de octubre 2024 en la ciudad de Termiz, la nueva fecha va a ser informada oportunamente.
Anexo la comunicacion donde el Presidente Farman indica el motivo de la decisión a la vez que esperamos la comprensión de todas la Federaciones Nacionales envueltas en estas participaciones atléticas.
«Le escribimos para informarle de una actualización importante sobre el Torneo Internacional At-Termizi y las Finales de la WSP, programados para el 14 al 19 de octubre en Termez, Uzbekistán.
Hemos recibido una comunicación oficial de la Federación de Kurash de Uzbekistán (UKF) en la que se describe la decisión de posponer el evento. A pesar de los preparativos exhaustivos, incluidas las reservas de hotel, los vuelos chárter y las solicitudes de visado, la UKF ha expresado su preocupación por la situación tecnogénica no resuelta en la provincia de Surkhandarya. Con el fin de garantizar la salud y la seguridad de todos los atletas y los estimados invitados, han optado por retrasar el torneo hasta que la situación se resuelva por completo».

The President of the International Kurash Association (IKA), Haider Farman, informed the Continental Unions of the postponement of the Grand Final of the World Series Pro (WSP) and the XVII International Tournament of the city of Termiz, events that were scheduled from October 14 to 19, 2024 in the city of Termiz, the new date will be informed in due time.

«We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the At-Termizi International Tournament and WSP Finals, scheduled to take place from October 14-19 in Termez, Uzbekistan.
We have received an official communication from Uzbekistan Kurash Federation (UKF) outlining decision to postpone the event. Despite thorough preparations – including hotel reservations, charter flights, and visa applications – the UKF has expressed concerns over the unresolved technogenic situation in the Surkhandarya province. In the interest of ensuring the health and safety of all athletes and esteemed guests, they have chosen to delay the tournament until the situation is fully resolved».
