Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- El International Kurash Institute (IKI), remitió a la Union Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), los correspondientes diplomas de participación en el Curso Internacional de Kurash Intensivo Virtual, realizado durante un mes con dos sesiones semanales y una duración de dos horas cada una para completar 16 horas con diferentes tópicos de arbitraje, entrenamiento, dopaje, organización de eventos, entre otros, importantes temas.
En la oportunidad 51 participantes de 14 diferentes países recibieron las enseñanzas de calificados expertos representando a Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Estados Unidos, Haití y República Dominicana.
Las enseñanzas tuvieron como profesores al señor Reza Nassiri, secretario general de la International Kurash Association (IKA); el señor Kim Eurjoong quien es experto de arbitraje del IKI y calificados expertos en técnicas y entrenamiento de esta ancestral disciplina lo que le confiere en título de la Madres de las Artes Marciales.
La coordinación general de la instrucción estuvo a cargo del rector del International Kurash Institute el señor Habibulla Tadjiev y su calificado personal teniendo como recipiente a la Union Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), entidad continental presidida por el señor Jaime Caanova Martínez; que con la colaboración de Julián Abreu Jiménez (USA), secretario general UPK y la señora Elizabeth Thompson (Chile), vicepresidente, hicieron posible la participación de los 14 países y los 51 participantes.
Igual colaboración y asistencia tuvieron los señores Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz (Republica Dominicana), Ulrick Charles-Louis (Haití) y Luis Bogantes Sanabria (Costa Rica), en sus condiciones de directores técnicos de arbitraje, graduaciones y tecnología, respectivamente, de la Union Panamericana de Kurash.
Esta instrucción sirvió como soporte técnico para la realización de los Campeonatos Panamericanos de Kurash en infantil, juvenil y senior, femenino y masculino, a realizarse en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana del 30 de julio al 3 de agosto 2026.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.– The International Kurash Institute (IKI) sent the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU) the corresponding certificates of participation in the Virtual Intensive International Kurash Course. The course, held over one month with two two-hour sessions per week, totaling 16 hours, covered various topics including refereeing, training, doping, event organization, and other important subjects.
Fifty-one participants from 14 different countries received instruction from qualified experts representing Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, the United States, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. The instructors included Mr. Reza Nassiri, Secretary General of the International Kurash Association (IKA); Mr. Kim Eurjoong, an IKI refereeing expert; and other qualified experts in the techniques and training of this ancient discipline, which has earned it the title of the Mother of Martial Arts.
The overall coordination of the training was handled by the Rector of the International Kurash Institute, Mr. Habibulla Tadjiev, and his qualified staff, with the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU), the continental entity presided over by Mr. Jaime Caanova Martínez, serving as the host. The PKU, with the collaboration of Julián Abreu Jiménez (USA), Secretary General, and Ms. Elizabeth Thompson (Chile), vicepresident, facilitated the participation of 14 countries and 51 participants.
Equal collaboration and assistance were provided by Mr. Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz (Dominican Republic), Mr. Ulrick Charles-Louis (Haiti), and Mr. Luis Bogantes Sanabria (Costa Rica), in their capacities as Technical Directors of Arbitration, Grading, and Technology, respectively, for the Pan American Kurash Union.
This instruction served as technical support for the Panamerican Kurash Championships for children, youth, and seniors, both male and female, held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from July 30 to August 3, 2026. The corresponding participation certificates are attached to this note.
