Kurash Perú fortalecido con la capacitación técnica de la FEDEPOL / Kurash Peru strengthened with technical training from FEDEPOL

Lima, Peru.- Finalizo con marcado éxito la instrucción técnica de esta disciplina en las áreas de arbitraje, entrenamiento y manejo de software a los alumnos de la entidad policial y de bomberos impartida por el ingeniero Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria quien es director de tecnología de la Union Panamericana de Kurash (UPK).
La actividad se enmarca dentro del programa de capacitación técnica a las nuevas entidades que inician su solicitud e inclusión como miembros activos en la disciplina de origen uzbeko a nivel continental y es en ese sentido que la Union Panamericana de Kurash obtemperó al pedido de asistencia técnica.

En la actividad participación de más de 100 asistentes, entre cadetes de la Policía Nacional del Perú, deportistas y representantes vinculados al deporte militar, policial, de bomberos, agentes penitenciarios y serenazgo, culminó satisfactoriamente una importante jornada internacional de capacitación en arbitraje, entrenamiento deportivo y manejo de herramientas tecnológicas aplicadas al Kurash, consolidando nuevos espacios para el crecimiento de esta disciplina en el Perú.

La actividad fue promovida y organizada por la Federación Deportiva de Policías y Bomberos – FEDEPOL, como parte de su política institucional orientada a fortalecer el deporte, la capacitación especializada y la integración deportiva nacional e internacional del personal militar, policial, bomberos, agentes penitenciarios, serenazgo, cadetes y atletas.

Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria, dignatario deportivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) y director de Tecnología de dicha organización continental, quien compartió conocimientos técnicos y experiencias internacionales destinadas a fortalecer las capacidades de árbitros, entrenadores, deportistas y futuros operadores de competencias oficiales de Kurash.

Esta jornada forma parte del proceso de expansión que impulsa la Unión Panamericana de Kurash para incorporar y fortalecer nuevas organizaciones comprometidas con el desarrollo de esta disciplina en el continente americano, encontrando en el Perú condiciones favorables para consolidar una estructura deportiva moderna, organizada y con proyección internacional.

En el Perú, la práctica organizada del Kurash viene desarrollándose desde fines del año 2024 bajo el impulso de la Federación Deportiva de Policías y Bomberos – FEDEPOL, que promovió sus primeras actividades de difusión, entrenamiento y participación deportiva. Este proceso ingresa actualmente a una nueva etapa de institucionalización especializada mediante la Asociación Peruana de Kurash – APK, organización encargada de fortalecer y proyectar el desarrollo técnico y deportivo de esta disciplina en el ámbito nacional.

En este proceso, la FEDEPOL viene desarrollando una importante labor institucional bajo la conducción de su presidente, Teniente Shian Navarro Cornejo, articulando esfuerzos con organizaciones deportivas nacionales e internacionales para ampliar las oportunidades de capacitación y competencia de los deportistas peruanos.

Asimismo, participó activamente el señor Julio Reza Huaroc, presidente de la Asociación Peruana de Kurash, organización que viene contribuyendo al fortalecimiento técnico, organizacional y territorial de esta disciplina, promoviendo su práctica entre niños, jóvenes, cadetes y deportistas, así como la formación progresiva de entrenadores, árbitros y nuevos núcleos deportivos en distintas zonas del país.
La capacitación constituye, además, uno de los pasos preparatorios hacia el I Campeonato

Panamericano de Kurash Policial 2026, evento internacional a desarrollarse en Lima – Perú del 4 al 6 de diciembre de 2026, que permitirá reunir a delegaciones y deportistas de diferentes países del continente americano y constituirá una plataforma de confraternidad, integración y promoción internacional del Kurash.

Como parte de la agenda desarrollada en Lima – Perú, la delegación efectuó también una visita técnica a las instalaciones previstas para las actividades deportivas, verificándose condiciones de alto nivel para la organización de competencias internacionales, incluyendo

alojamiento, comedor, salas de entrenamiento, área de pesas, espacios de recuperación, control antidopaje y un escenario deportivo con capacidad para miles de espectadores.
La visita del dignatario deportivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash comprendió igualmente reuniones con autoridades y representantes del ámbito político, deportivo y social, con el propósito de construir una plataforma institucional que permita garantizar el crecimiento sostenible del Kurash en el Perú y respaldar la realización de futuras competencias nacionales e internacionales.
Entre estas reuniones destacó el encuentro con el diputado de la República Héctor Guillén

Valencia, quien expresó su interés en promover la práctica deportiva y particularmente programas dirigidos a niños y jóvenes, la formación de monitores deportivos y la expansión del Kurash hacia diferentes regiones del territorio peruano.

Asimismo, se sostuvo una reunión con el diputado Harvey Colchado, segundo vicepresidente de la Cámara de Diputados del Congreso de la República del Perú, a quien se expuso el proceso de desarrollo e institucionalización del Kurash en el país, así como la trascendencia deportiva e internacional de las actividades que vienen impulsando FEDEPOL y la Asociación Peruana de Kurash.

También se sostuvo una reunión con el primer vicepresidente del Senado de la República, Alejandro Muñante Barrios, ante quien se expuso la importancia deportiva e internacional del encuentro programado para el mes de diciembre, así como la posibilidad de impulsar su reconocimiento institucional y promover actividades de exhibición y difusión del Kurash en espacios educativos y deportivos.

Estas acciones reflejan que el desarrollo del Kurash en el Perú trasciende la realización de una competencia y se proyecta hacia la construcción de una política permanente de formación deportiva, capacitación técnica, cooperación internacional e inclusión de nuevas generaciones.

En todas las actividades, reuniones y visitas técnicas desarrolladas durante la misión internacional, el dignatario deportivo Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria contó con la participación y acompañamiento de Shian Navarro Cornejo, presidente de FEDEPOL, y Julio Reza Huaroc, presidente de la Asociación Peruana de Kurash, reafirmándose una línea de trabajo basada en la cooperación, la institucionalidad y la hermandad deportiva panamericana.

FEDEPOL, como institución promotora y articuladora de esta jornada y como organización

que viene impulsando la práctica del Kurash en el Perú desde fines del año 2024, reafirma así su compromiso de utilizar el deporte como instrumento de integración, disciplina, formación y confraternidad entre el personal militar, policial, bomberos, agentes penitenciarios, serenazgo y la comunidad deportiva, contribuyendo paralelamente a posicionar al Perú dentro del proceso de crecimiento continental del Kurash.

La articulación entre la FEDEPOL, la Asociación Peruana de Kurash y la Unión Panamericana de Kurash abre una nueva etapa para esta disciplina en el país, orientada a ampliar su práctica, elevar la preparación técnica de sus protagonistas y generar las condiciones necesarias para que el Perú tenga una presencia cada vez más activa dentro del movimiento panamericano e internacional del Kurash.

Más que una capacitación, esta jornada representa un nuevo paso en la construcción de una comunidad deportiva unida por los valores de disciplina, respeto, fraternidad y cooperación que distinguen al Kurash y al deporte militar, policial, de bomberos, penitenciario y de serenazgo en las Américas.
La actividad formo parte de las acciones del Comité Ejecutivo de la Union Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) tendentes a expandir el kurash en América tanto en infantil, juvenil y senior, femenino y masculino, con plena capacitación en las diferentes áreas.

FEDEPOL STRENGTHENS KURASH DEVELOPMENT IN PERU WITH INTERNATIONAL TECHNICAL TRAINING

Lima, Peru.– The technical instruction in this discipline, covering the areas of refereeing, training, and software use, was successfully completed for students of the police and fire departments. The training was provided by engineer Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria, technology director of the Panamerican Kurash Union (UPK).
This activity is part of a technical training program for new entities applying for and joining active membership in this discipline of Uzbek origin at the continental level.
The Panamerican Kurash Union responded to the request for technical assistance.
A significant international training day in Kurash, attended by over 100 participants including cadets from the Peruvian National Police, athletes, and representatives from the military, police, fire department, prison guard, and municipal security forces, successfully concluded.
The event focused on refereeing, sports coaching, and the use of technological tools applied to Kurash, creating new opportunities for the growth of this discipline in Peru.
The activity was promoted and organized by the Sports Federation of Police and Firefighters (FEDEPOL) as part of its institutional policy aimed at strengthening sports, specialized training, and national and international sports integration for military, police, fire, prison guard, municipal security, cadet, and athlete personnel.
Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria, a sports dignitary from the Panamerican Kurash Union (UPK) and Director of Technology for that continental organization, shared technical knowledge and international experiences designed to strengthen the skills of referees, coaches, athletes, and future organizers of official Kurash competitions.
This event is part of the expansion process being promoted by the Panamerican Kurash Union to incorporate and strengthen new organizations committed to the development of this discipline in the Americas.
Peru offers favorable conditions for consolidating a modern, organized sports structure with an international reach.In Peru, the organized practice of Kurash has been developing since late 2014, driven by the Sports Federation of Police and Firefighters (FEDEPOL), which promoted its initial activities for outreach, training, and participation.
This process is now entering a new phase of specialized institutionalization through the Peruvian Kurash Association (APK), the organization responsible for strengthening and promoting the technical and athletic development of this discipline at the national level.
In this process, FEDEPOL is carrying out important institutional work under the leadership of its president, Lieutenant Shian Navarro Cornejo, coordinating efforts with national and international sports organizations to expand training and competition opportunities for Peruvian athletes.
Also actively participating was Mr. Julio Reza Huaroc, president of the Peruvian Kurash Association, an organization that has been contributing to the technical, organizational, and territorial strengthening of this discipline, promoting its practice among children, youth, cadets, and athletes, as well as the progressive training of coaches, referees, and new sports centers in different parts of the country.
This training also constitutes one of the preparatory steps toward the 1st Pan American Police Kurash Championship 2026, an international event to be held in Lima, Peru, from December 4 to 6, 2026.
This championship will bring together delegations and athletes from different countries of the Americas and will serve as a platform for camaraderie, integration, and international promotion of Kurash.As part of their agenda in Lima, Peru, the delegation also conducted a technical visit to the facilities designated for the sporting events.
They verified that the facilities meet high standards for hosting international competitions, including accommodation, dining facilities, training rooms, a weight room, recovery areas, anti-doping controls, and a sports arena with a capacity for thousands of spectators.The visit by the Panamerican Kurash Union’s sports dignitary also included meetings with authorities and representatives from the political, sporting, and social spheres.
The aim of these meetings was to establish an institutional platform that will ensure the sustainable growth of Kurash in Peru and support the organization of future national and international competitions.
Among these meetings, the meeting with Congressman Héctor Guillén Valencia stood out. He expressed his interest in promoting sports, particularly programs for children and young people, the training of sports instructors, and the expansion of Kurash to different regions of Peru.
A meeting was also held with Congressman Harvey Colchado, Second Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Congress of the Republic of Peru.
The development and institutionalization of Kurash in the country was presented to him, as well as the sporting and international significance of the activities being promoted by FEDEPOL and the Peruvian Kurash Association.A meeting was also held with the First Vice President of the Senate, Alejandro Muñante Barrios.

FEDEPOL, as the promoting and coordinating institution of this event and as an organization that has been promoting the practice of Kurash in Peru since the end of 2024, thus reaffirms its commitment to using sport as an instrument of integration, discipline, training, and camaraderie among military, police, firefighters, prison guards, security personnel, and the sporting community, contributing simultaneously to positioning Peru within the continental growth process of Kurash.
The collaboration between FEDEPOL (Peruvian Sports Federation), the Peruvian Kurash Association, and the Panamerican Kurash Union opens a new chapter for this discipline in the country, aimed at expanding its practice, enhancing the technical skills of its participants, and creating the necessary conditions for Peru to have an increasingly active presence within the Pan American and international Kurash movement.
More than just a training session, this event represents a new step in building a sporting community united by the values ​​of discipline, respect, fraternity, and cooperation that distinguish Kurash and military, police, fire, prison, and security sports throughout the Americas.
This activity was part of the actions of the Pan American Kurash Union (UPK) Executive Committee to expand Kurash in the Americas for children, youth, and seniors, both male and female, with comprehensive training in all areas.
