OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL KURASH ASSOCIATION
Today, an emergency meeting of the Directing Committee of the International Kurash Association (IKA), dedicated to the issue of the 15th World Kurash Championship, was held. The meeting was organised in a video-conference format and was chaired by the IKA President, Haider Farman.
During the meeting, taking into account the current political instability in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the issue of ensuring the safety of all championship participants was discussed as a top priority. In this regard, the Directing Committee members thoroughly considered the options of postponing the World Championship to a later date or relocating it to another host country.
At present, nearly 300 athletes and officials from more than 35 countries have officially registered to participate in the 15th World Kurash Championship through the IKA Registration System.
Considering the current situation, as well as the extensive experience and high level of preparedness of the Iranian Kurash Federation in organising championships, the Directing Committee decided to set an additional 10-day monitoring period. If the political situation in the country does not stabilise within this period, the 15th World Kurash Championship will be held in another country in March–April.
It was also reported that the International Kurash Association has received official hosting proposals for the 15th World Kurash Championship from the Kurash Federations of Uzbekistan and Egypt.
Following the conclusion of the designated 10-day period, a final decision regarding the exact dates and host country of the World Championship will be made and officially announced to the public.

DECLARACIÓN OFICIAL DE LA ASOCIACIÓN INTERNACIONAL DE KURASH
Hoy se celebró una reunión de emergencia del Comité Directivo de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash (IKA) dedicada al 15.º Campeonato Mundial de Kurash. La reunión se organizó por videoconferencia y estuvo presidida por el presidente de la IKA, Haider Farman.
Durante la reunión, dada la inestabilidad política actual en la República Islámica de Irán, se trató como máxima prioridad garantizar la seguridad de todos los participantes del campeonato. En este sentido, los miembros del Comité Directivo consideraron detenidamente las opciones de posponer el Campeonato Mundial o trasladarlo a otro país anfitrión.
Actualmente, casi 300 atletas y oficiales de más de 35 países se han inscrito oficialmente para participar en el 15.º Campeonato Mundial de Kurash a través del Sistema de Inscripción de la IKA.
Considerando la situación actual, así como la amplia experiencia y el alto nivel de preparación de la Federación Iraní de Kurash en la organización de campeonatos, el Comité Directivo decidió establecer un período adicional de seguimiento de 10 días. Si la situación política del país no se estabiliza dentro de este plazo, el 15.º Campeonato Mundial de Kurash se celebrará en otro país entre marzo y abril.
También se informó que la Asociación Internacional de Kurash ha recibido propuestas oficiales de las Federaciones de Kurash de Uzbekistán y Egipto para la celebración del 15.º Campeonato Mundial de Kurash.
Una vez transcurrido el plazo de 10 días, se tomará una decisión final sobre las fechas exactas y el país anfitrión del Campeonato Mundial, que se anunciará oficialmente al público.
