Matozinhos, Brasil.- La Confederación Brasileña de Kurash (CBK) concluyo exitosamente las competiciones del Campeonato Abierto en el Gimnasio Polideportivo de esta ciudad el que sirvió como eliminatoria para los Campeonatos Panamericanos de la ancestral disciplina de origen uzbeco a realizarse en la Republica Dominicana del 5 al 7 de julio 2024.
Las ganadoras de medallas de oro fueron Gabriela Martins da Rocha, Maria Eduarda Rodriguez y Luane Cristina compitiendo en los 63, 70 y 78 kilogramos, respectivamente, en la rama femenina.
Por otra parte Joao Paulo Freitas, Arthur Vinicius, Vinicius Morais, Joao Augusto Ribeiro Costa, Warley Souza y Henrique Pérez Cariolin compitiendo en los 60, 66, 73, 81, 100 y mas de 100 kilogramos, respectivamente.
Actuando como árbitros estuvieron Giovanni Lealdina, Marcus Vinicius y Jorge Nicolau durante todo el desarrollo del evento teniendo a Fernando Pinheiro, Camila Lodi y Fernando Navarro en el soporte técnico de la secuencia de combates, resultados y estadísticas finales.
Los miembros de la Junta Directiva de la Confederación Brasileña de Kurash encabezados por su presidente el profesor Galileu Paiva, Geovanni Lealdina, vicepresidente, así mismo, Marcos Barbosa y Rafael Caldeira, miembros quienes hicieron acto de presencia en la actividad que forma parte del programa de actividades del 2024 de la International Kurash Association (IKA).

Matozinhos, Brazil.- The Brazilian Kurash Confederation (CBK) successfully concluded the Open Championship competitions at the Sports Gymnasium of this city, which served as a qualifying round for the Pan American Championships of the ancient discipline of Uzbek origin to be held in the Dominican Republic. July 5 to 7, 2024.
The gold medal winners were Gabriela Martins da Rocha, Maria Eduarda Rodriguez and Luane Cristina competing in the 63, 70 and 78 kilograms, respectively, in the women’s category.
On the other hand, Joao Paulo Freitas, Arthur Vinicius, Vinicius Morais, Joao Augusto Ribeiro Costa, Warley Souza and Henrique Pérez Cariolin competing in the 60, 66, 73, 81, 100 and more than 100 kilograms, respectively.
Acting as referees were Giovanni Lealdina, Marcus Vinicius and Jorge Nicolau throughout the development of the event, with Fernando Pinheiro, Camila Lodi and Fernando Navarro providing technical support for the sequence of fights, results and final statistics.
The members of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Kurash Confederation headed by its president, Professor Galileu Paiva, Geovanni Lealdina, vice president, as well as Marcos Barbosa and Rafael Caldeira, members who were present at the activity that is part of the 2024 activities of the International Kurash Association (IKA).
