IKA announces “Best in 2019”

The International Kurash Association is happy to unveil the winners in the categories “Best events and people of IKA in 2019”.

This year the IKA’s Directing Committee determined best events, athletes and officials in ten different nominations judging their overall performance and contribution to Kurash promotion in their respective countries, continents and in the world.

The IKA congratulates the winners and wishes them further success in their efforts in promoting the sport of Kurash!

BEST FEMALE PLAYER

Ms Yu-Ching Cheng (Chinese Taipei)
Gold medalist in under 63kg weight category at the XII World Kurash Senior Championships in Korea

BEST MALE PLAYER

Mr Eiki Goya (Japan)
Gold medalist in under 66 kg weight category at the XII World Kurash Senior Championships in Korea
