*“CISM Kurash Challenge Cup” — organisational issues are at the centre of discussion*
📍Another important meeting dedicated to holding the “CISM Kurash Challenge Cup” competition at a high level was held at the Headquarters of the International Kurash Association.
⚡️As it is known, in May 2025, Kurash was officially recognised as a military sport by the International Council for Military Sports (CISM). After this historic decision, for the first time the CISM Kurash Challenge Cup competition is planned to be held in Tashkent on September 4-9 of this year in accordance with the CISM calendar with the participation of the Kurash federations of the CISM member states.
♻️During the meeting, issues such as holding the competition at a high organisational level, receiving foreign delegations, preparing sports facilities, and establishing an effective information policy were discussed in detail.
❗️The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri, the Head of the Administration Mansur Mirzaev, responsible officials of the Ministry of Defence Mansur Mamadaminov and Maxim Sukhov, as well as the First Deputy Chairman of the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Kadirov and Assistant Chairman Sardorbek Karimov.
🎙During the discussions, the IKA General Secretary noted that this competition is of particular importance as it is the first time that it is being organised among the military within the framework of CISM. As noted, more than 30 national athletes are expected to participate in the competition, and the competitions will be held in 13 weight categories.
🔵The matters such as preparation of the Competition Regulations, the development of the official logo, the preparation of promotional videos, and the expansion of international media coverage were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
📌The “CISM Kurash Challenge Cup” is recognised as an important event not only for the military sports community, but also for the entire world Kurash family.

*Copa Desafío CISM Kurash: cuestiones organizativas en el centro del debate*
📍Otra importante reunión dedicada a la celebración de la “Copa Desafío CISM Kurash” a un alto nivel se celebró en la sede de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash.
⚡️Como es sabido, en mayo de 2025, el Kurash fue reconocido oficialmente como deporte militar por el Consejo Internacional de Deportes Militares (CISM). Tras esta histórica decisión, por primera vez, la Copa Desafío CISM Kurash se celebrará en Tashkent del 4 al 9 de septiembre de este año, de acuerdo con el calendario del CISM, con la participación de las federaciones de Kurash de los estados miembros del CISM.
♻️Durante la reunión, se debatieron en detalle cuestiones como la celebración de la competición a un alto nivel organizativo, la recepción de delegaciones extranjeras, la preparación de las instalaciones deportivas y el establecimiento de una política de información eficaz.
❗️A la reunión asistieron el Secretario General de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash, Mohammad Reza Nassiri; el Jefe de Administración, Mansur Mirzaev; los responsables del Ministerio de Defensa, Mansur Mamadaminov y Maxim Sukhov; así como el Primer Vicepresidente de la Federación de Kurash de Uzbekistán, Bakhtiyor Kadirov; y el Vicepresidente, Sardorbek Karimov.
🎙Durante las conversaciones, el Secretario General de la IKA destacó la especial importancia de esta competición, ya que es la primera vez que se organiza entre militares en el marco del CISM. Se espera la participación de más de 30 atletas nacionales, que se celebrarán en 13 categorías de peso.
🔵También se debatieron en detalle temas como la preparación del Reglamento de Competición, el desarrollo del logotipo oficial, la elaboración de vídeos promocionales y la ampliación de la cobertura mediática internacional.
