🗓El 5 de febrero de este año, se celebró una reunión en línea entre el Secretario General de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash (IKA), Mohammad Reza Nassiri, y el Director Ejecutivo de la Asociación Internacional de Deportes para Ciegos (IBSA), Sr. Rufat Hajili.

❗️Esta conversación se organizó como una continuación lógica de una serie de negociaciones entre el Presidente de la IKA y el Presidente de la IBSA y marcó el inicio de la siguiente etapa de cooperación práctica para la inclusión de Kurash en la organización de la IBSA.

🤝Durante la reunión, las partes acordaron la necesidad de desarrollar un sistema especial de clasificación (categorización) para garantizar la participación de atletas ciegos y con discapacidad visual en Kurash. Como se mencionó, determinar una clasificación justa y precisa de los atletas es de suma importancia antes de organizar cualquier competición internacional.

♻️Estos documentos se presentarán a la IKA próximamente. Los expertos de la Asociación desarrollarán un modelo de clasificación adecuado que cumpla con los requisitos internacionales, considerando las particularidades de Kurash y las capacidades de los atletas. «Posteriormente, el proyecto pasará a la fase de implementación», afirma el secretario general de la IKA, Mohammad Reza Nassiri.

🗓On February 5th this year, an online meeting was held between the General Secretary of the International Kurash Association (IKA), Mohammad Reza Nassiri, and the Executive Director of the International Blind Sports Association (IBSA), Mr. Rufat Hajili.

❗️This discussion was organized as a logical continuation of a series of negotiations between the IKA President and the IBSA President and marked the beginning of the next stage of practical cooperation on the inclusion of Kurash in to IBSA organization.

🤝During the meeting, the parties agreed on the need to develop a special classification (categorization) system to ensure the participation of blind and partially sighted athletes in Kurash. As noted, determining a fair and accurate classification of athletes is of paramount importance before organizing any international competitions.

♻️These documents will be submitted to the IKA in the near future. The Association’s experts will develop an appropriate classification model that meets international requirements, taking into account the specifics of Kurash and the capabilities of athletes. “After that, the project will move on to the implementation stage,” says IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri.
