Kurash Estados Unidos y la Federación de Uzbekistán firman convenio de colaboración


El documento en cuestión indica que no afecta los derechos y obligaciones de las partes derivadas de otros tratados internacionales y que puede ser modificado y ampliado por mutuo acuerdo de las partes firmantes.

Todos los presentes dijeron sentirse muy satisfechos por la realización de la actividad que promueve el kurash en sentido general.

Kurash USA and the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation Sign Collaboration Agreement
Chicago, United States.- On June 20, 2025, the National Kurash Federations of the United States and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a mutually beneficial collaboration agreement between these two sports entities.
This agreement strengthens the ties of friendship and reciprocity between both nations in the sporting arena of this ancient Uzbek-origin discipline, which has existed for more than 3,500 years.
The signing of the document took place at the Hilton Garden Downtown in the city known as the Windy City, which is also known for its sports teams, culture, and media.
Julián Abreu Jiménez, President of USA Kurash and Secretary General of the Panamerican Kurash Union, and Mr. Umarov Uygun, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, were present.
Among the most relevant points of the agreement, which aims to strengthen relations between two entities from different continents, are the development and cooperation to establish kurash as a popular sport in the United States and in the Americas in general; extensive advertising and joint activities to promote the sport with development programs; international tournaments; exchanges of referees and coaches; refereeing and coaching seminars; working visits at the highest levels; joint training camps; exhibitions and publications of scientific and methodological reports and manuals; and instruction on topics such as sports medicine and doping control, among other important aspects of kurash development.
The document in question indicates that it does not affect the rights and obligations of the parties arising from other international treaties and that it may be modified and expanded by mutual agreement of the signatory parties.
Mr. Musinov Orzubeck, Chief specialist for International Relations in the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, also attended the event, along with Abboskhujaev Sarvarkhuja, Head of the Kurash Department of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
«This memorandum between the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation and USA Kurash represents a very important step toward the development of the discipline in the United States and broad cooperation with other member countries of the Panamerican Kurash Union throughout the Americas. We thank the authorities of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation for their decisive support in signing this agreement, which fully satisfies us,» said Professor Julián Abreu Jiménez at the signing of the document.
All those present expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of this activity, which promotes kurash in general.
