Kurash Estados Unidos y la Federación de Uzbekistán firman convenio de colaboración

La rubricación del documento en cuestión se hizo en el Hilton Garden Downtown de esta llamada la Ciudad de los Vientos que además destaca por sus equipos deportivos, su cultura y medios de comunicación, conto con la presencia de Julián Abreu Jiménez, presidente de USA Kurash y secretario general de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash  y el señor Umarov Uygun, en su condición de primer vicepresidente de la Federación de Kurash de Uzbekistán.

Entre los puntos más relevantes del acuerdo que viene a fortalecer las relaciones entre dos entidades de diferentes continentes están el desarrollo y cooperación para colocar el kurash como un deporte popular en Estados Unidos y en general en el continente americano, realizar propaganda amplia y actividades conjuntas de promoción de la disciplina con programas de desarrollo, realización de torneos internacionales, intercambio de árbitros y entrenadores, realización de seminarios de arbitraje y entrenamiento, visitas de trabajo al más alto nivel, campamentos de entrenamientos conjuntos, exposiciones y publicaciones de informes y manuales científicos y metodológicos, instrucción en temas como medicina deportiva y control de dopaje, entre otros importantes renglones del desarrollo del kurash.
El documento en cuestión indica que no afecta los derechos y obligaciones de las partes derivadas de otros tratados internacionales y que puede ser modificado y ampliado por mutuo acuerdo de las partes firmantes.

Al evento asistió también el señor Musinov Orzubeck quien es jefe de Relaciones Internacionales de la Federación de Kurash de Uzbekistán en compañía de Abboskhujaev Sarvarkhuja, jefe del Departamento de Kurash del Comité Olímpico Nacional de la Republica de Uzbekistán.
«Este memorándum entre la Federación Nacional de Uzbekistán y USA Kurash se convierte en un paso muy importante para el desarrollo en los Estados Unidos de la disciplina y una cooperación amplia con los demás países afiliados a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash de todo el continente americano. Agradecemos a las autoridades de la Federación de Kurash de Uzbekistán el impulsar decididamente la firma de este convenio lo que nos satisface plenamente», así se expresó el profesor Julián Abreu Jiménez al momento de la firma del documento referido.
Todos los presentes dijeron sentirse muy satisfechos por la realización de la actividad que promueve el kurash en sentido general.

Kurash USA and the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation Sign Collaboration Agreement

Chicago, United States.- On June 20, 2025, the National Kurash Federations of the United States and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a mutually beneficial collaboration agreement between these two sports entities.
This agreement strengthens the ties of friendship and reciprocity between both nations in the sporting arena of this ancient Uzbek-origin discipline, which has existed for more than 3,500 years.
The signing of the document took place at the Hilton Garden Downtown in the city known as the Windy City, which is also known for its sports teams, culture, and media.
Julián Abreu Jiménez, President of USA Kurash and Secretary General of the Panamerican Kurash Union, and Mr. Umarov Uygun, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, were present.
Among the most relevant points of the agreement, which aims to strengthen relations between two entities from different continents, are the development and cooperation to establish kurash as a popular sport in the United States and in the Americas in general; extensive advertising and joint activities to promote the sport with development programs; international tournaments; exchanges of referees and coaches; refereeing and coaching seminars; working visits at the highest levels; joint training camps; exhibitions and publications of scientific and methodological reports and manuals; and instruction on topics such as sports medicine and doping control, among other important aspects of kurash development.
The document in question indicates that it does not affect the rights and obligations of the parties arising from other international treaties and that it may be modified and expanded by mutual agreement of the signatory parties.
Mr. Musinov Orzubeck, Chief specialist for International Relations in the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation, also attended the event, along with Abboskhujaev Sarvarkhuja, Head of the Kurash Department of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
«This memorandum between the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation and USA Kurash represents a very important step toward the development of the discipline in the United States and broad cooperation with other member countries of the Panamerican Kurash Union throughout the Americas. We thank the authorities of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation for their decisive support in signing this agreement, which fully satisfies us,» said Professor Julián Abreu Jiménez at the signing of the document.
All those present expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of this activity, which promotes kurash in general.
