KURASH HAITI EN PROYECTO GENERACION DE CAMPEONES
Puerto Príncipe, Haití.- De manera coloquial siempre decimos que el kurash llego para quedarse y nada mas cierto ya que esto esta sucediendo en esta nación donde el Ministerio de la Juventud, Deportes y Acción Cívica (MJSAC) ha contribuido desde hace años con la practica de esta ancestral disciplina la que en su país de origen, Uzbekistán, tiene mas de 3500 años de existencia.
Es el programa de 10 años en la preparación de una Generación de Campeones del Gobierno de Haití el que se mantiene bajo la tutoría de la Federación de Kurash de Haití cuyo presidente es el señor Vauguens MICHEL y su secretario general el profesor Ulrick LOUIS-CHARLES con el apoyo de los demás miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de la entidad que gobierna esta disciplina en el país caribeño.
El Centro de Entrenamiento de Kurash José Martí esta en la calle Camille León, local de la Universidad Mont Everest y que en el futuro alojara a los juveniles practicantes del kurash de ambos sexos para dar el debido seguimiento, además de las practicas cotidianas, a la parte escolar.
Como Directora del Proyecto esta a la profesora Gina SULLY, Murielle DORISMOND coordinadora, Jacson DORNEVIL BRIERRE y Jimmy JEAN en las funciones de entrenadores y para completar la nomina con Peterson OLIVIER como personal medico.
El kurash en Haití inicio en 2019 con el reconocimiento de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), teniendo un ascenso vertiginoso que les ha permitido 
recibir seminarios de instrucción en la capital haitiana, Campeonatos Nacionales, entrenamientos y participación en varios Campeonatos Panamericanos en Santo Domingo con importantes logros medallisticos y asistencia en Tashkent, Uzbekistán en Seminarios Internacionales de capacitación en arbitraje, sistema de grados y entrenamiento, entre otras importantes actividades.
«El kurash en Haití se proyecta de manera firme entre los países de toda América pues tiene una amplia expansión dentro de todo su territorio llegando a las diferentes categorías en infantil, juvenil y senior por lo que reconocemos el trabajo que están realizando día a día», así se expreso Jaime Casanova, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash al evaluar el Proyecto Generación de Campeones.

KURASH HAITI IN PROJECT GENERATION OF CHAMPIONS
Port-au-Prince, Haiti.- In a colloquial way we always say that the Kurash is here to stay and nothing more true since this is happening in this nation where the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) has contributed for years with the practice of this ancestral discipline which in its country of origin, Uzbekistan, has more than 3500 years of existence.
It is the 10-year program in the preparation of a Generation of Champions of the Government of Haiti that is maintained under the tutelage of the Kurash Federation of Haiti whose president is Mr. Vauguens MICHEL and its secretary general Professor Ulrick LOUIS-CHARLES with the support of the other members of the Executive Committee of the entity that governs this discipline in the Caribbean country.
The José Martí Kurash Training Center is on Camille León Street, the premises of the Mont Everest University and which in the future will house young kurash practitioners of both sexes to give proper follow-up, in addition to daily practices, to the school part.
Professor Gina SULLY, Murielle DORISMOND coordinator, Jacson DORNEVIL BRIERRE and Jimmy JEAN as trainers and to complete the list with Peterson OLIVIER as medical staff are the Director of the Project.
Kurash in Haiti began in 2019 with the recognition of the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU), having a vertiginous rise that has allowed them to receive instruction seminars in the Haitian capital, National Championships, training and participation in several PanAmerican Championships in Santo Domingo. with important medal achievements and assistance in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in International Training Seminars in arbitration, grading system and training, among other important activities.
«The kurash in Haiti is firmly projected among the countries of the Americas as it has a wide expansion within its entire territory, reaching the different categories in children, youth and seniors, so we recognize the work they are doing day by day» This is how Jaime Casanova, president of the Pan American Kurash Union, expressed himself when evaluating the Generation of Champions Project.
