KURASH HAITI PROMUEVE PRACTICA DE NIÑOS Y JOVENES
Puerto Príncipe, Haití.– Incentivando cada vez mas la practica del kurash en ese país la Federación Haitiana de la disciplina marcial esta desarrollando un amplio programa dirigido a niños y jóvenes de ambos sexos y de diferentes estratos sociales bajo el nombre «Diez Años de Preparación para una Generación de Campeones» y el mismo se desarrolla en el José Martí Kurash Club los días miércoles, sábado y domingo en periodo escolar.
El programa en cuestión esta dirigido por el técnico Ulrick Louis-Charles quien a la vez es el secretario general de la entidad que gobierna esta disciplina en el país antillano y que en el pasado reciente recibió una amplia instrucción sobre entrenamiento, arbitraje y sistema de grados en Tashkent, Uzbekistán.
La Federación Haitiana de Kurash fue afiliada a la Unión Panamericana el pasado 6 de abril 2019 teniendo como Comité Ejecutivo a Vauguens MICHEL, Champagne CADICHON y Ulrick LOUIS-CHARLES quienes son presidente, vicepresidente y secretario general, respectivamente.
La nomina la completan Francois CHAVENET, Gina SULLY, Millard JEROME y Claude JEAN PIERRE en sus condiciones de tesorero, directora de educación y deportes, director de desarrollo y secretario general adjunto, sucesivamente.
Algunas de las actividades realizadas fueron del 24 al 27 de mayo 2019 en las instalaciones del Comité Olímpico de la capital haitiana un Seminario Internacional sobre la historia de esta ancestral disciplina, la que tiene más de 3,500 años de práctica ininterrumpida en Asia Central, reglamentaciones de arbitraje y su aplicación práctica, sistema de entrenamiento avanzado, manejo de las áreas deportivas y de pesaje, sorteo, competición y resultados, edades y peso corporal, entre otros importantes temas.
El mismo fue impartido por Franklin Pérez, Manuel Guerrero y Elvis Mateo, todos miembros de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash (Fedokurash), que además contó con la presencia de su presidente, Israel Caraballo y de Jaime Casanova, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de la disciplina.
Los Campeonato Nacionales tuvieron lugar en Puerto Príncipe los días 11 y 12 de agosto 2019 en el Gymnasium Vicent con la presencia de los directivos de la Federación Haitiana de Kurash y su presidente a la cabeza, Vauguens Michel, con la colaboración de los técnicos dominicanos Franklin Pérez y Manuel Guerrero.
Posteriormente los practicantes de esta disciplina participaron en los Campeonatos Panamericanos realizados el 1 de diciembre 2019 en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, Republica Dominicana donde la Federación Haitiana de Kurash quedo en cuarto lugar del certamen con una medalla de oro, dos plata y un bronce presentando sus credenciales en este certamen al ser la organización mas joven en afiliarse a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash y sus peleadores mas sobresalientes fueron Bien Amine, Edely Mondely y Wolph Ronald.
«Felicito a la Federación Haitiana de Kurash pues su interés y acciones han estado fundamentadas en pasos firmes en su desarrollo y los hechos lo demuestran con este programa de niños y jóvenes que envuelve el futuro del deporte a nivel mundial», dijo Jaime Casanova, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash al conocer el inicio del programa para niños y jóvenes.
«Ojala que el propio Comité Olímpico Internacional por intermedio del Comité Olímpico Haitiano, el Ministerio de Deportes de Haití, las Naciones Unidas y otras entidades tanto a nivel nacional como internacional se hagan parte de esta iniciativa dando la mayor colaboración para lograr una sociedad mas justa e inclusiva», concluyo Casanova Martínez

KURASH HAITI PROMOTES PRACTICE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Port-au-Prince, Haiti.- Increasingly encouraging the practice of kurash in that country, the Haitian Federation of martial discipline is developing an extensive program aimed at children and young people of both sexes and from different social strata under the name «Ten Years of Preparation for a Generation of Champions «and it takes place at the José Martí Kurash Club on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays during school periods.

The Haitian Federation of Kurash was affiliated to the Panamerican Union on April 6, 2019 with Vauguens MICHEL, Champagne CADICHON and Ulrick LOUIS-CHARLES as Executive Committee, who are president, vice president and general secretary, respectively.

Some of the activities carried out were from May 24 to 27, 2019 at the facilities of the Olympic Committee of the Haitian capital an International Seminar on the history of this ancient discipline, which has more than 3,500 years of uninterrupted practice in Central Asia, regulations refereeing and its practical application, advanced training system, management of sports and weighing areas, draw, competition and results, ages and body weight, among other important topics.

The National Championships took place in Port-au-Prince on August 11 and 12, 2019 at the Gymnasium Vicent with the presence of the directors of the Haitian Kurash Federation and its president at the head, Vauguens Michel, with the collaboration of Dominican technicians Franklin Pérez and Manuel Guerrero.
Later the practitioners of this discipline participated in the Panamerican Championships held on December 1, 2019 in the city of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic where the Haitian Kurash Federation was in fourth place in the contest with a gold medal, two silver and one bronze presenting its credentials in this contest being the youngest organization to join the Panamerican Kurash Union and its most outstanding fighters were Bien Amine, Edely Mondely and Wolph Ronald.
