De esta manera queda lista la selección de la Femekurash que representará a Mexico en el Campeonato Panamericano en julio del presente año en República Dominicana, buscando su pase a la World Series Pro (WSP), el torneo que reúne a los mejores Kurashis del mundo, asi, Oscar Gutiérrez, Victor Arreola, Ivan Vivanco, Juan Salinas, Angel Sanchez, Jonathan Ornela, Jesús Rodríguez y Mike Ruiz. en los 60, 66, 73, 81, 90, 100, 120 y mas de 120 kilogramos, respectivamente, lograron la selección.Por otro lado en Femenino tuvimos en los 70 kilogramos a Alessandra Gutiérrez y a Mariana Villalba en los 52 kilogramos quienes representaran a la Femekurash en en el evento continental.

Mexico City, Mexico – The Mexican Kurash Federation (Femekurash) successfully concluded its 3rd International Tournament of this ancient discipline, which included both men’s and women’s divisions.
The competitions took place at the Guelatao Social and Sports Center in the Cuauhtémoc Delegation, where athletes from Mexico, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic competed. These countries placed first, second, and third, respectively, in the athletic event organized by Professors Juan Cruz and Milaidy
Leonor Chirinos, in their capacities as president and technical director, respectively, of the Mexican Kurash Federation. Mexican athletes representing the states of Jalisco, Querétaro, Guerrero, Durango, Mexico City, and the State of Mexico, among others, participated.
Prior to the start of the matches and after the participating athletes had lined up, the opening ceremony took place. Professor Juan Cruz welcomed the various delegations, highlighting the hospitality of the Mexican state.
Engineer Jaime Casanova Martínez, speaking on behalf of the International Kurash Association (IKA) and the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU), expressed the satisfaction of both organizations with the holding of these regional events, which guarantee the constant and sustained development of the discipline that originated more
than 3,500 years ago in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Following this, diplomas for the Two-Line rank were awarded to the athletes who had previously passed the corresponding technical examination: Oscar Gutiérrez, Victor Arreola, Juan Manuel Salinas, Joseph Alejandro Gómez Soto, Angel Sanchez, and Emmanuel Rodriguez Lizárraga.
The matches then began in both the women’s and men’s divisions on a pleasant afternoon with a relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful backdrop of Mexico City.
After the competitions concluded, the awards were presented by the attending officials in a spirit of excellent camaraderie among athletes, coaches, referees, and technicians, among others.

Championship in July of this year in the Dominican Republic is finalized. On the women’s side, Alessandra Gutiérrez competed in the 70 kg category, and Mariana Villalba in the 52 kg category, both of whom will represent Femekurash at the continental event.
The refereeing team, led by Professor Diego Patiño and assisted by Aron Ricardo and Yurico Alfaro, performed excellently, ensuring fair play. Also present at the athletic competition, in
a technical capacity, were engineer Luis Bogantes Sanabría, Director of Technology for the Pan American Kurash Union (UPK), and Fanny Mendoza, Treasurer of the Dominican Kurash Federation (Fedokurash).
