KURASH PANAMERICA CON IMPORTANTES EVENTOS EN EL MES DE MARZO 2024 / KURASH PANAMERICA WITH IMPORTANT EVENTS IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024

Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- La expansión del Kurash en todo el continente americano está en pleno desarrollo a juzgar por las actividades calendario que presentan varios países durante el presente mes de marzo 2024.

De esta manera podemos fijarnos en las informaciones aparecidas en el sitio web www.kurashpanam.org de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) donde se establecen actividades en Venezuela, México, República Dominicana y Nicaragua, entre otros paises miembros de la entidad continental.

La Federación Venezolana de Kurash (Fevekurash) que preside el profesor Jesse Díaz anunció el Venezuela Open Challenge para el próximo 9 de marzo de esta disciplina ancestral que inició su existencia hace más de 3500 años y que en nuestros días tiene un auge extraordinario.
La parte de capacitación de nuestros técnicos reviste un característica especial y por eso incidimos en su formación decididamente haciendo una instrucción virtual el próximo 10 de marzo cuando el profesor Luis Bogantes, Director de Tecnología de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash presente el II Taller de Instalación y Manejo del Scoreboard para competencias de Kurash.

Por otro lado la Federación Mexicana de Kurash (Femekurash) cuyo presidente es el profesor Juan Cruz tiene fechado para los días 16 y 17 de marzo el Torneo Internacional Abierto donde se espera la participación de varios países en el evento de este arte marcial oriundo de la República de Uzbekistán.

Corresponde a la República Dominicana realizar los primeros Campeonatos por Equipos Mixtos el 17 de marzo y donde la entidad local presidida por el doctor Israel Caraballo Jiménez trabaja afanosamente en la organización de la justa de un deporte que es sumamente popular en toda el Asia Central y que inició su vida institucional el 6 de septiembre 1998 en la ciudad de Tashkent con la fundación de la International Kurash Association (IKA).

Las actividades calendarizadas para este mes por los países afiliados a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) concluyen el 30 de marzo cuando la Federación Nicaragüense de Kurash la que preside el licenciado Frank Silva Urbina realice el primer Campeonato Nacional de Playa donde se espera una importante participación de competidores de ambos sexos siguiendo con la expansión de esta disciplina que es practicada en los cinco continentes y más de 130 países del globo terráqueo.

Y es que la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) a logrado acertadamente la integración de diferentes naciones contándose entre ellas Chile, Brasil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Panamá, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, México, Estados Unidos, República Dominicana y Haití.

En la actualidad el Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash el que está integrado por Jaime Casanova Martínez (República Dominicana), Elizabeth Thompson (Chile) y Julián Abreu Jiménez (Estados Unidos), quienes son presidente, vicepresidente y secretario, respectivamente, trabajan afanosamente en la afiliación de otros países a la entidad continental.

El Cuerpo Técnico está conformado por Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz (Republica Dominicana), Ulrick Louis-Charles (Haití) y Enrique Bogantes (Costa Rica),desempeñando las direcciones técnicas de Arbitraje, Grados y Tecnología, respectivamente.
