Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- El Comité Organizador de la Semana Panamericana del Kurash realizó una reunión para evaluar la ruta crítica de las actividades que están programadas del 22 al 29 de agosto 2023 en esta ciudad primada de América.
La Semana Panamericana del Kurash tendrá un Programa General que abarca los Campeonatos Panamericanos de la ancestral disciplina oriunda de Uzbekistán, el Kurash World Series Pro (WSP) y el Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa, así mismo, los Seminarios de Arbitraje, Entrenamiento y Sistema de Grados los que seran impartidos por expertos de la International Kurash Association (IKA) y el International Kurash Institute (IKI)
En la reunión se paso revista a importantes renglones como el transporte, alimentación, alojamiento, inscripciones, preparación áreas de competencias, servicios médicos, sorteo, desarrollo de la competición, resultados estadísticos, invitaciones, premiaciones, entre otros puntos, en el evento donde se espera la participación de Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Haití, Brasil, Republica Dominicana, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, México, Panamá, Guatemala y los Estados Unidos.
La nómina de los asistentes correspondió a Israel Agustin Caraballo Jiménez, Jaime Casanova Martínez, Alquimedes Ortiz, Fanny Bello, Gimbel de León, Juana Morban y Fanny Mendoza.
Previamente los señores Ulrick Louis-Charles y Luis Bogantes en sus calidades directores técnicos del Sistema de Grados y Tecnología, respectivamente, hicieron sus recomendaciones para la reunión de manera virtual.
Los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK) estuvieron integrados a la reunión con Jaime Casanova Martínez y Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz, presidente y director de arbitraje, respectivamente, de manera presencial y la vicepresidente Elizabeth Thompson y Julián Abreu Jiménez de manera virtual.
Los participantes fueron convocados para la próxima reunión en el termino de 15 días.

The participants were summoned for the next meeting within 15 days.
