*Pan-American Kurash Week: IKA Expands the Implementation of International Standards Across the Americas*

As part of the Pan-American Kurash Week taking place in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, the international educational seminars for coaches and referees have been successfully concluded. Held alongside the Pan-American Kurash Championships, these seminars have further contributed to strengthening the technical and organisational capacity of Kurash throughout the continent.
The seminars brought together coaches and referees from Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Peru, and other countries across the Pan-American region.
The training sessions were delivered by experts from the International Kurash Institute in accordance with the educational programmes approved by the International Kurash Association. Throughout the seminars, participants received both theoretical and practical instruction on the latest requirements of coaching and refereeing, the standards for officiating international competitions, the current Rules, and practical experience in their respective fields.
At the conclusion of the seminars, all participants were awarded internationally recognised certificates. The certificate presentation ceremony was attended by Jaime Casanova, President of the Pan-American Kurash Union, Ajmal Ishaq Zai, International Expert for Coaching, and Kim Eur Joong, International Expert for Refereeing.
It is worth noting that all competitions and educational programmes held within the framework of the Pan-American Kurash Week are being organised under the leadership of the International Kurash Association. These initiatives, implemented under the leadership of IKA Acting President Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, serve to expand the international presence and geographical reach of Kurash, develop unified international standards for refereeing and coaching, and strengthen intercontinental cooperation in sport.

Como parte de la Semana Panamericana de Kurash celebrada en Boca Chica, República Dominicana, concluyeron con éxito los seminarios educativos internacionales para entrenadores y árbitros. Estos seminarios, realizados paralelamente al Campeonato Panamericano de Kurash, contribuyeron a fortalecer la capacidad técnica y organizativa del Kurash en todo el continente.

Los seminarios reunieron a entrenadores y árbitros de México, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Haití, República Dominicana, Perú y otros países de la región panamericana.

Las sesiones de capacitación fueron impartidas por expertos del Instituto Internacional de Kurash (IKA) de acuerdo con los programas educativos aprobados por la Asociación Internacional de Kurash (IKA). Durante los seminarios, los participantes recibieron instrucción teórica y práctica sobre los requisitos más recientes para el entrenamiento y el arbitraje, los estándares para arbitrar competencias internacionales, el reglamento vigente y adquirieron experiencia práctica en sus respectivos campos.

Al concluir los seminarios, todos los participantes recibieron certificados reconocidos internacionalmente. A la ceremonia de entrega de certificados asistieron Jaime Casanova, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash; Ajmal Ishaq Zai, experto internacional en entrenamiento; y Kim Eur Joong, experto internacional en arbitraje.

Cabe destacar que todas las competiciones y programas educativos celebrados en el marco de la Semana Panamericana de Kurash se organizan bajo la dirección de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash (IKA). Estas iniciativas, implementadas bajo el liderazgo del presidente interino de la IKA, Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, buscan ampliar la presencia internacional y el alcance geográfico del Kurash, desarrollar estándares internacionales unificados para el arbitraje y el entrenamiento, y fortalecer la cooperación intercontinental en el deporte.
