UNION PANAMERICANA DE KURASH EN EL DIA MUNDIAL DEL DESAFIO
San Cristóbal, Republica Dominicana.- Los atletas de la Asociación de Kurash de San Cristóbal, Asokusc, se integraron plenamente al Dia Mundial del Desafío dirigidos por sus profesores Israel Caraballo, Franklin Pérez, Juana Morban y Manuel Guerrero.
La actividad formo parte de la preparación de estos atletas para los Campeonatos Panamericanos de Kurash a realizarse en el país del 3 al 9 de junio 2022 donde se espera la participación de delegaciones de otros países.
El Dia Mundial del Desafío forma parte de las actividades de la Asociación Internacional de Deportes para Todos conocida por sus siglas en el idioma ingles de Tafisa y que se realiza el ultimo miércoles del mes de mayo.
El inicio de esta actividad fue en Saskatoon, Canadá en el invierno de 1983 que fue extremadamente frio y para mejorar la interacción entre las personas y así aumentar la temperatura del cuerpo mientras se ejercitaban, el alcalde sugirió que todos salieran a caminar. Al año siguiente, la ciudad vecina se sumo a esta iniciativa, creándose en esencia el Dia del Desafío.
En 1990, Tafisa la Asociación Internacional de Deportes para Todos, con el apoyo de ISCA International Sport and Cultura Association – asumió la gestión del evento, que comenzó a ganar mas fuerza y adeptos.
Lo que el alcalde Clifford y sus munícipes no se imaginaban era que, hasta hoy, más de 20 años después, que el Dia Mundial del Desafío movilizaría más de 43 millones de personas de 3.469 ciudades de las Américas.
«La Unión Panamericana de Kurash año tras año se integra planamente a esta actividad como parte de su programa de actividades ya que esto unifica a los atletas con sus profesores y demás directivos en cada país donde tenemos presencia», dijo Jaime Casanova, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash al despedir la importante actividad este miércoles 25 de mayo 2022.

PANAMERICAN UNION OF KURASH ON WORLD CHALLENGE DAY
San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic.- The athletes of the Kurash Association of San Cristóbal, Asokusc, fully joined the World Challenge Day led by their teachers Israel Caraballo, Franklin Pérez, Juana Morban and Manuel Guerrero.
The activity was part of the preparation of these athletes for the Panamerican Kurash Championships to be held in the country from May 3 to 9, 2022, where the participation of delegations from other countries is expected.
The World Challenge Day is part of the activities of the International Association of Sports for All known by its acronym in the English language of Tafisa and which takes place on the last Wednesday of the month of May.
The beginning of this activity was in Saskatoon, Canada in the winter of 1983, which was extremely cold and to improve the interaction between people and thus increase the temperature of the body while exercising, the mayor suggested that everyone go for a walk.
