Unión Panamericana de Kurash realiza actividades virtuales
Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- En respuesta a la pandemia del Covid-19 el Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash decidió activar la disciplina de manera virtual con la realización de diferentes eventos.
La decisión de los miembros de Comité Ejecutivo se tomó por medio de una reunión llevada a cabo por el sistema de conferencias virtuales ZOOM.
Como primera iniciativa en este día se desarrolló la primera conferencia bajo el título “Hablemos de Kurash” donde los temas principales fueron la historia de la disciplina y las reglas de arbitraje.
El evento en cuestión fue dirigido por Jaime Casanova en su condición de presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash con el soporte de Israel Caraballo y Franklin Pérez quienes son presidente y director de árbitros en la Federación Dominicana de Kurash, respectivamente.
También acompañó las exposiciones el doctor Alquimedes Ortiz en su condición de miembro de la Comisión de Arbitraje de la International Kurash Association (IKA) y vicepresidente de la Fedokurash.
En la oportunidad representantes de Chile, Costa Rica, Haití, República Dominicana y Panama, entre otros, formaron parte de La referida conferencia a la vez que externaron sus inquietudes y preguntas.
Acogiendo la sugerencia de los participantes para la próxima semana está pautada una amplia conferencia con exclusividad en el arbitraje y sus reglamentaciones.

Pan American Kurash Union conducts virtual activities
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Executive Committee of the Pan American Union of Kurash decided to activate the discipline in a virtual way by holding different events.
The decision of the Executive Committee members was made through a meeting held by the ZOOM virtual conference system.
As the first initiative on this day, the first conference was held under the title «Talking about Kurash» where the main topics were the history of the discipline and the rules of arbitration.
The event in question was directed by Jaime Casanova in his capacity as president of the Pan American Kurash Union with the support of Israel Caraballo and Franklin Pérez who are president and director of referees in the Dominican Kurash Federation, respectively.
Also accompanying the presentations was Dr. Alquimedes Ortiz in his capacity as a member of the Arbitration Commission of the International Kurash Association (IKA) and vice-president of the Fedokurash.
On the occasion, representatives of Chile, Costa Rica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Panama, among others, participated in the aforementioned conference while also expressing their concerns and questions.
Welcoming the suggestion of the participants for the next week, a wide conference with exclusivity in arbitration and its regulations is scheduled.
