XXIII DIA MUNDIAL DEL KURASH – 6 de septiembre 2021
23TH WORLD KURASH DAY 2021 – 6th September 2021
Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Como cada año el 6 de septiembre celebramos el Día Internacional del Kurash de esta disciplina ancestral con mas de 3500 años de existencia y que es oriunda de Uzbekistán.
Ese día se reunieron en Tashkent, capital de Uzbekistán, una importante cantidad de representantes de varios países quienes fundaron la International Kurash Association (IKA)

La convocatoria en cuestión fue cursada por el señor Komil Yusupov para presentar los trabajos desarrollados durante varios años en cuanto a las Reglas de Competición, organización administrativa, en fin, todo lo relativo a la fundación de la International Kurash Association.
Precisamente el señor Komil Yusupov fue seleccionado como el primer presidente de la International Kurah Association (IKA) logrando grandes avances en la expansión de esta disciplina a nivel internacional.
A partir del 2014 la International Kurash Association (IKA) tiene como presidente al ciudadano kuwaití de nombre Haider Farman quien dentro de sus principales logros esta la introducción de esta disciplina uzbeca en los Juegos Asiáticos de manera permanente.

Hoy día el Kurash tiene presencia en todos los continentes y mas de 130 países realizando diferentes eventos competitivos tanto en infantil, juvenil, senior y master tanto en femenino como en masculino.
Esa promoción y expansión del kurash llego a países como Estados Unidos, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Republica Dominicana, Haití, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Brasil y Chile, entre otros.

Ahora la International Kurash Association trabaja afanosamente para lograr la incursión de esta disciplina en los Juegos Olímpicos en base al gran desarrollo que la misma ha demostrado en la organización y realización de certámenes atléticos de alta calidad.
De esta manera el Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash que preside el dominicano Jaime Casanova Martínez extiende su mas calurosa felicitación a la International Kurash Association en este 6 de septiembre 2021 en su XXIII Aniversario.

WORLD KURASH DAY 2021 – September 6, 2021
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- As every year on September 6 we celebrate the International Kurash Day of this ancestral discipline with more than 3,500 years of existence and that is native to Uzbekistan.
That day, a significant number of representatives from various countries met in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, who founded the International Kurash Association (IKA).
The call in question was sent by Mr. Komil Yusupov to present the works developed over several years in terms of the Competition Rules, administrative organization, in short, everything related to the foundation of the International Kurash Association.
Indeed, Mr. Komil Yusupov was selected as the first president of the International Kurah Association (IKA), achieving great strides in the expansion of this discipline internationally.
As of 2014, the International Kurash Association (IKA) has as its president the Kuwaiti citizen named Haider Farman who among his main achievements is the introduction of this Uzbek discipline in the Asian Games on a permanent basis.
Today Kurash has a presence on all continents and more than 130 countries, holding different competitive events for children, youth, seniors and masters, both for women and men.
This promotion and expansion of kurash reached countries such as the United States, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil and Chile, among others.
Now the International Kurash Association is working hard to achieve the incursion of this discipline in the Olympic Games based on the great development that it has shown in the organization and realization of high quality athletic certificates.
In this way, the Executive Committee of the Panamerican Kurash Union chaired by the Dominican Jaime Casanova Martínez extends its warmest congratulations to the International Kurash Association on this September 6, 2021 on its XXIII Anniversary.
