Dia Mundial del Kurash 2022, 6 septiembre
Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- La Asociación Internacional de Kurash (IKA) fue fundada el 06 de septiembre de 1998 en Tashkent, ciudad capital de Uzbekistan, pais que forma parte del contienente asiatico.
A pesar de que ningun historiador puede asegurar sin reservas cuando surgio exactamente el Kurash como arte marcial uzbeco muchos lo situan con más de 3.500 años de antigüedad. Hoy dia con 24 años de existencia de la Internacional Kurash Association es un acontecimiento histórico y memorable, ya que abrio el camino al mundo a un estilo de deporte nacional.
El Kurash ahora es popular en el mundo debido a la soberanía adquirida por la Republica de Uzbekistan el 1 de septiembre 1991 pues la independencia abrió una fuente inagotable a nivel mundial de muy diversos valores históricos, culturales, espirituales nacionales y sobretodo deportivos.
El kurash ha escalado importntes sitiales a nivel deportivo bajo la actual presidencia del ciudadano kuwaiti Haider Farman a la vez que continua la expansion en diferentes paises y continentes.
El regocijo de este Dia Mundial del Kurash es celebrado por las Uniones Continentales, Federaciones Nacionales, atletas, entrenadores y arbitros, entre otros, bajo las directrices de la International Kurash Association. La Union Panamericana de Kurash se une al regocijo mundial en este dia del nacimiento institucional de la International Kurash Association (IKA). 6 de septiembre 2022.

WORLD KURASH DAY 2022, 6 September
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The International Kurash Association (IKA) was founded on September 6, 1998 in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, a country that is part of the Asian continent.
Although no historian can unreservedly say exactly when Kurash emerged as an Uzbek martial art, many place it at more than 3,500 years old.
Today, with 24 years of existence of the International Kurash Association, it is a historic and memorable event, since it opened the way to the world to a national style of sport.
The Kurash is now popular in the world due to the sovereignty acquired by the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 1, 1991, since independence opened an inexhaustible source worldwide of very diverse historical, cultural, national spiritual and especially sports values.
The kurash has climbed important places at the sporting level under the current presidency of the Kuwaiti citizen Haider Farman while continuing the expansion in different countries and continents.
The joy of this World Kurash Day is celebrated by the Continental Unions, National Federations, athletes, coaches and referees, among others, under the guidelines of the International Kurash Association. The Pan American Kurash Union joins the global rejoicing on this day of the institutional birth of the International Kurash Association (IKA). September 6, 2022.
