Kurash Costa Rica en el Congreso Nacional del Deporte

San José, Costa Rica.- La Federación Costarricense de Kurash participo, previa invitación, en el Congreso Nacional del Deporte con la presencia de su presidente el ingeniero Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria,
En efecto los días 7 y 8 de diciembre 2024 fue realizado el conclave en los salones del Estadio Nacional donde el Kurash Costa Rica fue aceptado, por primera vez, con voz y voto a la vez que fue parte de la mesa de Inclusión, Deporte y Salud.
Durante esos dos días el grupo elaboro un plan e iniciativa de inclusión deportiva y mujer el que será presentado al Consejo de Deportes de Costa Rica para su aprobación final.
Luis Bogantes recibe el pergamino de participación de manos de Roymer Mora Ruiz, Ministro de Deportes y Recreación y Donald Rojas Fernández, Director Nacional del Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreación (Icoder)
Al evento asistieron el Ministro de Deportes, la Ministra de Genero, la directora del Instituto Nacional de la Mujer, el Director de Paralimpiadas, el presidente del Comité Olímpico de Costa Rica, presidentes de Federaciones Nacionales, diferentes representantes de Comités Cantonales así como el vicepresidente de Costa Rica. Luis Bogantes quien además de ser presidente de la Federación Costaricense de Kurash es Director de Tecnología de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), hizo provecho de la ocasión para entablar conversaciones con diferentes instituciones que a futuro estarán interesadas en la instalación del Kurash como opción deportiva.
Kurash Costa Rica at the National Sports Congress San José, Costa Rica.- The Costa Rican Kurash Federation participated, by invitation, in the National Sports Congress with the presence of its president, engineer Luis Enrique Bogantes Sanabria.
In fact, on December 7 and 8, 2024, the conclave was held in the halls of the National Stadium where Kurash Costa Rica was accepted, for the first time, with voice and vote while being part of the Inclusion, Sports and Health table.
During those two days, the group developed a plan and initiative for sports and women’s inclusion that will be presented to the Costa Rica Sports Council for final approval.

The event was attended by the Minister of Sports, the Minister of Gender, the director of the National Institute for Women, the Director of Paralympics, the president of the Olympic Committee of Costa Rica, presidents of National Federations, different representatives of Cantonal Committees, as well as the vice president of Costa Rica.
Luis Bogantes, who in addition to being president of the Costa Rican Kurash Federation is Director of Technology of the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU), took advantage of the occasion to start conversations with different institutions that in the future will be interested in the installation of Kurash as a sporting option.
