La primera Campeóna Mundial Peso Pesado dominicano en la historia del Campeonato Mundial Kurash. Inicialmente, obtuvo el primer lugar en el Campeonato Panamericano Kurash y en los Clasificatorios Continentales Pro de la Serie Mundial en agosto.
Una vez más demostró su superioridad en Ashgabat.
Puello, que terminó todos los combates hasta la final con una victoria pura, venció en la final a la representante de las anfitrionas, Sabina Agajanova, con un claro gol de Khalol.
