Informamos del fallecimiento del padre del doctor Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz
Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- La Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), pasa por la honda pena de informar del sentido fallecimiento de quien en vida respondía al nombre de Pedro Ortiz Rondón (Mario), padre del doctor Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz, vicepresidente de la Fedokurash y director de arbitraje de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK).
Sus familiares encabezados por su esposa la señora Lidia De la Cruz de Ortiz y sus hijos Alquimedes, Antonio, Mercedes, Altagracia y Felipe informan de las honras fúnebres el sábado 27 de septiembre 2025 a las once de la mañana en el cementerio municipal de la ciudad de Bayaguana en la provincia Monte Plata en la Republica Dominicana.
El Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash, sus Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas y las correspondientes direcciones técnicas expresan sus mas sentidas condolencias a todos y cada uno de los deudos; esposa, hijos, nietos y demás familiares, del señor Pedro Ortiz Rondón (Mario).

We report the death of Dr. Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz’s father
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU) is deeply saddened to report the death of Pedro Ortiz Rondón (Mario), father of Dr. Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz, Vice President of Fedokurash and Director of Arbitration for the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU).
His family, led by his wife, Lidia De la Cruz de Ortiz, and his sons, Alquimedes, Antonio, Mercedes, Altagracia, and Felipe, announce that funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at eleven o’clock in the morning at the municipal cemetery in the city of Bayaguana, in the province of Monte Plata, Dominican Republic.
The Executive Committee of the Panamerican Kurash Union, its affiliated National Federations, and the corresponding technical departments express their deepest condolences to each and every one of the mourners: wife, sons, grandchildren, and other family members of Mr. Pedro Ortiz Rondón (Mario).
May his soul rest in peace and his family sympathy.
