Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- La Union Panamericana de Kurash (UPK), junto a sus Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas y todo su cuerpo tecnico felicitan al orgulloso y heroico pueblo de Uzbekistan en la celebracion este 1 septiembre del 2025 del XXXIV Aniversario de su Independencia.
Este XXXIV Aniversario de la Indepndencia de Uzbekistan ha significado un punto de partida al ser este pais la patria originaria del Kurash lo que permitio la institucion de la International Kurash Association (IKA) que hoy dia se expande como un verdadero legado deportivo al mundo.
Asi, llenos de orgullo clebramos junto al pueblo uzbeko este XXXIV Aniversario de la Independencia de Uzbekistan!!!!

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU), together with its affiliated National Federations and its entire technical staff, congratulates the proud and heroic people of Uzbekistan on the celebration of the 34th Anniversary of their Independence on September 1, 2025.
This 34th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence has marked a turning point, as this country is the original homeland of Kurash, which allowed for the establishment of the International Kurash Association (IKA), which today expands as a true sporting legacy to the world.
Thus, filled with pride, we celebrate this 34th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence alongside the Uzbek people!
