Los Juegos de Solidaridad Islámica 2025 se celebrarán en Riad, Arabia Saudita, del 7 al 21 de noviembre de 2025. Participarán más de 4.000 atletas que representan a 57 países islámicos de cuatro continentes.
Los Juegos regresan al Reino 20 años después de celebrarse la primera edición en La Meca en 2005. Se organizan bajo la supervisión de la Federación Islámica de Deportes de Solidaridad (ISSF), en cooperación con el Comité Olímpico Saudí.
Los atletas competirán en más de 21 disciplinas, desde lucha libre y halterofilia hasta fútbol y atletismo. A esto se suman novedades como carreras de camellos y eSports, conformando uno de los espectáculos multideportivos más grandiosos del mundo musulmán.
Desde su inicio en 2005, los Juegos de Solidaridad Islámica han sido más que medallas; han servido como un puente que fomenta la cooperación y los lazos culturales entre países de mayoría musulmana a través del lenguaje universal del deporte.
El hecho de que Riad albergue la competencia, y Arabia Saudita por primera vez desde el comienzo de los Juegos, parece un momento de cierre de ciclo. Los organizadores se esfuerzan por promover la inclusión, el compromiso juvenil y la tecnología de vanguardia para mejorar la experiencia de los espectadores.

The 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 7 to 21, 2025. More than 4,000 athletes representing 57 Islamic countries from four continents will participate.
The Games return to the Kingdom 20 years after the first edition was held in Mecca in 2005. They are organized under the supervision of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF), in cooperation with the Saudi Olympic Committee.
Athletes will compete in more than 21 disciplines, from wrestling and weightlifting to football and athletics. New additions include camel racing and eSports, making it one of the grandest multi-sport events in the Muslim world.
Since their inception in 2005, the Islamic Solidarity Games have been about more than just medals; they have served as a bridge fostering cooperation and cultural ties between Muslim-majority countries through the universal language of sport.
The fact that Riyadh is hosting the competition, and Saudi Arabia for the first time since the Games began, feels like a moment of closure.
