Unión Panamericana impulsa Torneos Kurash Playa
Así, los países que desde 2016 participan ininterrumpidamente se cuentan Chile, Brasil, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama, México, Estados Unidos, Haití y República Dominicana, entre otros.
El escenario preferido de estas competiciones ha sido la afrodisíaca y popular Playa de Boca Chica en la República Dominicana lo que le ha dado a las competidores el marco de difusión internacional por la gran afluencia de turistas
de diferentes nacionalidades que, disfrutando de la blanca arena, cielo de azul intenso y un excitante sol caribeño han dicho presente en las referidas competiciones, al igual que el público nativo.
Esta modalidad ha sido ampliamente publicitada por los medios dominicanos de difusión masiva ya que es el turismo una importante fuente de ingresos de este país perteneciente a las Antillas Mayores y de igual manera los países participantes han realizado lo propio.
Normalmente este Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa se desarrolla en el marco de la Semana Panamericana de la disciplina que además cuenta en la progresión de Seminarios, Cursos de Capacitación y Examinaciones, así mismo, los Campeonatos Panamericanos sobre tapiz tanto en infantil, juvenil y senior en femenino y masculino los que se realizan en el Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte de la capital dominicana.
Esas Semanas Panamericanas de Kurash han tenido en su programación de los años 2023 y 2024 las clasificaciones del World Series Pro (WSP) como relevante evento de esta disciplina originaria de Uzbekistan y con una elevada aceptacion en toda el Asia Central desde su protocolizacion en 6 de septiembre 1998 en Tashkent con la formacion de la International Kurash Association (IKA)

1er Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa 2016 fue realizado el sábado 3 de diciembre en el balneario del poblado de Boca Chica lo que fue un hito con la entrada de esa vistosa modalidad competitiva de este arte marcial.
El 2do.Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa se desarrolló el sábado 9 de diciembre 2017 repitiendo la tradicional sede de la turística Boca Chica siendo del deleite de los turistas de visitan este país caribeño y público en general.
Para el sábado 8 de diciembre 2018 tuvimos el 3er. Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa con la participación de los atletas de los diferentes países participantes en la Semana Panamericana de la disciplina uzbeka.
El 4to. Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa en el marco de las actividades de la Semana Panamericana del Kurash fue realizado el viernes 29 de noviembre 2019 y la acostumbrada organización de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash (Fedokurash) que preside el doctor Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez.
Los años 2020 y 2021 las actividades de la Semana Panamericana del Kurash recesaron motivado a la aparición del Covid 19 lo que desato una pandemia que el globo terráqueo tardo varios meses en superar.
Así, el 5to. Torneo Internacional de Kurash de Playa o como lo designan los dominicanos como Kurash Playero regreso lunes el 12 de diciembre 2022 logrando cada vez más aceptación entre los atletas y directivos de las diferentes Federaciones Nacionales presentes. Este fue realizado en las instalaciones del Centro Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte en la ciudad de Santo Domingo.
Al 2023 le correspondió el 6to. Torneo Internacional de Kurash Playa fechado el domingo 27 de agosto y la tradicional sede de Boca Chica teniendo que superar las inclemencias del tiempo que produjo el fenómeno meteorológico nombrado Tormenta Tropical Franklin.
Como cada año el 7mo Torneo Internacional de Kurash de Playa se desarrolló en Boca Chica el domingo 7 de julio 2024 y que al igual que las anteriores versiones han sido una importante base para la difusión de esta modalidad de la disciplina a nivel contienetal con amplia repercusión a nivel internacional.
En estos eventos de las Semanas Panamericanas del Kurash hemos tenido la presencia de diferentes personalidades contándose entre ellas Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov y Mohamed Reza Nassiri, quienes son vicepresidente y secretario general, respectivamente, de la International Kurash Association y Habibulla Tadjiev en su condición de Rector del International Kurash Institute (IKI), entre otros.
Para este 2025 los días 14 y 15 de junio volveremos a ver las competiciones de Kurash 
Playa con la organización de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash, Fedokurash, y el aval de la Unión Panamericana (UPK) de la disciplina bajo la normativa de la International Kurash Association (IKA)
Las actividades de estos Torneos Internacionales de Playa o Kurash Playero han sido coordinados por el Comité Ejecutivo de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash que preside el señor Jaime Casanova Martínez (República Dominicana), acompañado por la vicepresidenta señora Elizabeth Thompson (Chile) y el secretario general Julián Abreu Jiménez (Estados Unidos).
Las direcciones técnicas corresponden a Luis Bogantes, (Costa Rica), quien maneja la tecnología, Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz (Republica Dominicana) es el responsable del arbitraje y Ulrick Louis-Charles (Haití) en el área de graduaciones.

Panamerican Union promotes Tournaments Kurash Beach
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – The countries that make up the Panamerican Kurash Union have been a very important point for the development of competitions in the sport of this ancient discipline that dates back more than 3500 years of existence.
Thus, the countries that have participated uninterruptedly since 2016 include Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala,
Panama, Mexico, the United States, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, among others.
The preferred setting for these competitions has been the aphrodisiac and popular Playa de Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic, which has given the competitors a landmark of international diffusion due to the large influx of tourists of different nationalities who, enjoying the white arena, intense blue sky and an exciting Caribbean sun, have been present in the aforementioned competitions, as well as the native public.
This modality has been widely publicized by the Dominican mass media as tourism is an important source of income for this country belonging to the Antilles Mayores and in the same way the participating countries have carried out it themselves.
Normally this Kurash Playa International Tournament is
unfolds within the framework of the Panamerican Kurash Week of the discipline that also counts on the progression of Seminars, Training Courses and Examinations, as well as the Panamerican Championships on both children’s, youth and senior women’s and men’s levels that take place at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in the Dominican capital.
These Panamerican Weeks of Kurash have been included in its program of the years 2023 and 2024, the classifications of the World Series Pro (WSP) as a relevant event of this discipline originating in the Republic of Uzbekistan and with a high acceptance throughout Central Asia since its protocolization on September 6, 1998 in Tashkent with formation of the International Kurash Association (IKA).
Finally, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Venezuela and other National Federations have developed Kurash Playa events, which has allowed the diffusion of this modality on the American continent by the Panamerican Kurash Union.
The 1st Kurash Beach International Tournament 2016 was held on Saturday 3rd December in the resort of the town of Boca Chica, which was a success with the entry of this eye-catching competitive modality of this martial art.
The 2nd Kurash Beach International Tournament took place on Saturday, December 9, 2017, repeating the traditional seat of the Boca Chica tourist attraction, delighting tourists visiting this Caribbean country and the general public.
For Saturday, December 8, 2018, we broadcast the 3rd. Kurash Beach International Tournament with the participation of athletes from different countries participating in the Panamerican Week of the Uzbek discipline.
El 4to. Kurash BeachInternational Tournament within the framework of the activities of the Panamerican Week of Kurash was held on November 29, 2019 and the well-established organization of the Dominican Federation of Kurash (Fedokurash) presided over by doctor Israel Agustín Caraballo Jiménez.
In the years 2020 and 2021, the activities of the Panamerican Kurash Week declined due to the appearance of Covid 19, which triggered a pandemic that took the earthly globe several months to overcome.
So, the 5th. Kurash Beach International Tournament or how it designates the Dominicans as Kurash Player returns on December 12, 2022, achieving increasingly greater acceptance among athletes and directors of the different National Federations present. This was carried out at the facilities of the Centro Olimpico Juan Pablo Duarte in the city of Santo Domingo.
In 2023 I corresponded with the 6th. Kurash Beach International Tournament closed on Sunday, August 27th and at the traditional headquarters of Boca Chica trying to overcome the inclement weather that produces the meteorological phenomenon known as Tropical Franklin Storm.
As each year, the 7th Kurash Beach International Tournament took place in Boca Chica on Sunday 7th July 2024 and which, just like the previous versions, has been an important basis for the diffusion of this discipline at a national level with a wide repercussion at an international level.
In these events of the Panamerican Kurash Weeks we have seen the presence of different personalities including Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov and Mohamed Reza Nassiri, who are vice-president and general secretary, respectively, of the International Kurash Association and Habibulla Tadjiev in his capacity as Rector of the International Kurash Institute (IKI), among others.
For this 2025 on the 14th and 15th of June we will return to see the Kurash Playa competitions with the organization of the Dominican Kurash Federation, Fedokurash, and the approval of the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU) of the discipline under the regulations of the International Kurash Association (IKA)
The activities of these International Tournaments of Beach or Kurash Playero have been coordinated by the Executive Committee of the Unión Panamericana de Kurash presided over by señor Jaime Casanova Martínez (Dominican Republic), accompanied by vice-
president señora Elizabeth Thompson (Chile) and general secretary Julián Abreu Jiménez (United States).
The technical directions correspond to Luis Bogantes, (Costa Rica), who manages technology, Alquimedes Ortiz Cruz (Dominican Republic) is responsible for arbitration and Ulrick Louis-Charles (Haiti) in the area of graduations.
