Kurash week is taking place on the Pan-American continent these days.
During the week, a seminar on refereeing and coaching was successfully completed.
On December 11 kurash competitions of the Pan American Cup took place.
The strongest athletes from more than 10 countries of the continent competed for the champion title.
The opening ceremony of the competition was attended by such esteemed guests as Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibula Tadjiyev, President of the Pan-American Kurash Union Jaime Casanova, President of the Dominican Kurash Federation Israel Caraballo, as well as Arquimedes Ortiz and Louis Charles.
The National folklore ballet of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic shared the festive mood with athletes from Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Haiti, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
At the end of the competition, winners were determined. Ecuadorian athletes, who left no chance to their rivals, won the Continental Cup.
For reference: Ecuadorian Kurash Federation is one of the youngest federations. This year Ecuadorian Kurash Federation was accepted as a member of the Pan-American Kurash Union and the International Kurash Association.

La semana de Kurash se lleva a cabo estos días en el continente panamericano.
Durante la semana, se completó con éxito un seminario sobre arbitraje y entrenamiento.
El 11 de diciembre se llevaron a cabo las competencias de kurash de la Copa Panamericana.
Los atletas más fuertes de más de 10 países del continente compitieron por el título de campeón.
A la ceremonia de apertura de la competencia asistieron invitados tan distinguidos como el Rector del Instituto Internacional de Kurash Khabibula Tadjiyev, el Presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash Jaime Casanova, el Presidente de la Federación Dominicana de Kurash Israel Caraballo, así como Arquimedes Ortiz y Louis Charles .
El ballet folclórico Nacional del Ministerio de Turismo de República Dominicana compartió el ambiente festivo con deportistas de Chile, Bolivia, Uruguay, Haití, Costa Rica y República Dominicana.
Al final de la competencia, se determinaron los ganadores. Los atletas ecuatorianos, que no dejaron oportunidad a sus rivales, ganaron la Copa Continental.
Para referencia: La Federación Ecuatoriana de Kurash es una de las federaciones más jóvenes. Este año la Federación Ecuatoriana de Kurash fue aceptada como miembro de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash y de la Asociación Internacional de Kurash.
