Thanks to the support of the government of Uzbekistan, the level and the number of international Kurash competitions are increasing day by day.
On June 30 of this year, in the city of Bielsko-Biala, Poland, Kurash was presented as the European Open Championship within the framework of the European Games “Krakow-Malopolska 2023”.
Yesterday, the organizing committee of the European Games presented the official certificate of the games to the International Kurash Association and the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation.
The certificate states that the Kurash competitions took place within the official European Games.
The recognition of kurash as a noble sport by the organizing committee of the European Games serves to promote Kurash more widely around the world.

El reconocimiento del kurash como deporte noble por parte del comité organizador de los Juegos Europeos sirve para promover el kurash más ampliamente en todo el mundo.
