Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Luego de un exitoso año 2025 plagado de actividades nacionales, regionales y panamericanas y en base a ese regocijo del deber cumplido queda extender la más calurosa de las felicitaciones a las Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas en esta Pascuas y desearles un próspero 2026.-
Este 2025 fue de integración total de Centroamérica y el Caribe, Norteamérica y Suramérica en campeonatos, seminarios, reuniones y congresos en el marco institucional que corresponde a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash (UPK).
Ahora nos queda formalizar un amplio y variado Programa de Actividades 2026 para seguir la senda del desarrollo de esta disciplina que oriunda de Uzbekistán ya forma parte de algunos veinte países en toda América.
Nuestras acciones futuras estarán enmarcadas al soporte mundial para lograr que esta ancestral disciplina llegue a ser reconocida por el Comité Olímpico Internacional, además, fortalecer a la Unión Panamericana de Kurash ante cualquier adversidad que pueda presentarse a futuro.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – After a successful 2025 filled with national, regional, and Pan-American activities, and based on the joy of a job well done, we extend our warmest congratulations to the affiliated National Federations this Easter and wish them a prosperous 2026.
This year, 2025, was marked by the full integration of Central America and the Caribbean, North America, and South America through championships, seminars, meetings, and congresses within the institutional framework of the Panamerican Kurash Union (PKU).
Now, we must formalize a broad and varied Program of Activities for 2026 to continue the development of this discipline, which originated in Uzbekistan and is already practiced in some twenty countries throughout the Americas.
Our future actions will focus on providing global support to help this ancient discipline gain recognition from the International Olympic Committee, and on strengthening the Panamerican Kurash Union to face any future challenges.
